How has Ukraine failed so terribly at defending their country against Russia?
In World War II, Hitler pushed 600 miles into the USSR--only a few miles from Moscow. But the total width of the USSR was some ~5,600 miles, so the Nazis basically only made it around a tenth of the way into the country.
Meanwhile, Russia has advanced some 100 miles into Ukraine's southern front. And Ukraine is only a little under ~800 miles in width...
Thus, Pravitel Putin's Russia has been more successful in Ukraine (going 1/8th of the way into the country) than Fuhrer Hitler's Germany (only going barely 1/10th into the country.

Wars are won with logistic and germany did not have the capacity to fight 3 fronts at the same time, we were only 69 million at that time. The soviet union had 210 million inhabitants. the western allies had a population of about 250 million. yet 40 million soviets were extinguished. if the usa had not pushed $130 billion of goods into the soviet union, everything would have been different. russia is having massive problems conquering its front garden. so much for your russian Bvlls

the third reich and the soviets had an agreement that they would deliver oil, coal, iron, etc. to the soviets, they kept postponing the deliveries so that no further war aims could be achieved, therefore they were forced to take the oil fields, at the same time they learned about the massive armament of the soviets or who builds 80k tanks if they don't want a war. it doesn't matter how many die now the whole world thought ukraine would be gone in 4 weeks. it's been over 5 months now and only in the east has anything happened, it doesn't matter if kiev planned it that way, it was seen as a ukrainian victory. this has massively damaged russia's reputation and made the comedian a legendary figure.

Idk where you are going with this. According to the article I posted Stalin wasn't keen on amassing weapons because he thought nothing will happen, if Tukhachevsky didn't push for it ( and he had to shill for a while, they didn't listen to him at first ) Russians would have practically no defense when Barbarossa happened. Even on the eve of Barbarossa Stalin thought Hitler won't attack causing Russians not to scramble planes when it started. They had 2000 planes destroyed at the first battle, most of them on the ground, parked.
