It is most likely that China will invade Taiwan before or shortly after the year 2027 because according to the United States China will be ready to invade Taiwan in the year 2027.
Another very high probability is that it will do so a few years before the year 2049.
Why before the year 2049?
Because in the year 2049 it will be the centenary of the Chinese Communist Party (the CCP) and the members of the CCP will want to legitimize and demonstrate the success and effectiveness of communism by annexing Taiwan to celebrate the hundred years of the CCP

I believe China won't attack but take the slow political path, similar to HK. The exception is when USA turns into chaos (secession, civil war), then China is going to move fast.

I've been thinking about that a lot too.
If the current political situation does not change in the future and China invades Taiwan, it would be very bad and counterproductive for China.
I think that when China is ready to annex Taiwan, China will not invade Taiwan but will impose a military and economic blockade on Taiwan to force the Taiwanese people to accept the CCP regime without invading Taiwan.
If China does this, I'm not sure how the US will react.
What do you think would happen after China's military blockade against Taiwan?
