As recently as 10 years ago, nobody had ever even heard of a transgender person outside of Tumblr. Most people were aware it was a thing that existed, but they saw it as a joke, like Thai ladyboys or traps, just weirdo shit that shouldn't be taken seriously, or is just a sexual fetish thing.
Now in 2022 transgenders are suddenly EVERYWHERE, their numbers have skyrocketed, and you see them walking the streets in even small towns in the middle of nowhere. They have the full support and monetary backing of corporations, governments, institutions and media organisations all across the western world and beyond.
Just what the fuck happened here exactly? It feels like they literally came out of nowhere. In 2012 if you had said to people, even here on Any Forums, that "in 10 years time transgenders will be one of the most powerful political blocs and people will have their lives ruined if caught publicly criticising them", absolutely NO ONE would have believed you. What the fuck happened in this past decade to make this somehow become unironically real?

It's actually insane to see how feminists have been made totally irrelevant by the rise of transgender ideology. As recently as like 2016, feminists were THE leading figures of the liberal/progressive movement. When you said "social justice warrior" back then, you immediately conjured in your mind an image of a fat feminist ranting about the patriarchy. Everything was about women, biological women, the rights of women, anti-men.
But now? That's all over, just completely finished. Women have willingly surrendered their rights to men in dresses and argue that "men should be allowed into women's bathrooms and be allowed to play in women's sports if they identify as a girl". They completely destroyed feminism in just a few short years, it's actually unfathomable how this has happened. But the problem is that what's replaced it is far, far worse and more surreal.

I had some chick go into "CIS gender" around 10 years ago, so at least that concept was going around in her circles. The two groups who ever dedicated time to reverse engineer the mechanics of how 'all this' came to be are Gamer Gate folks and radical feminists. I still haven't had coffee yet but I remember around 2013 there was some kind of shift within academia and it basically spread from there to all the liberals who'd _already_ nestled themselves into civil service-type jobs and were previously more or less benign.

It definitely seems like transgenderism was "selected" as the new Great Cause to be pushed from 2015 onwards, but what's weird about this is how its pushed so much harder than any other such cause has been before.
Even when gay rights and gay marriage was still a topic of public debate, it was never like THIS. In the 2000s and early 2010s when gay rights movements were in full swing, they actually used to try and be conscious of their image and wanted to tone down their degenerate image, and instead present an image of "the normal happy gay couple" living in a house with a white picket fence. They wanted gays to seem boring and normal, and they succeeded in presenting that. But with trans its so much more aggressive, they have zero interest in looking normal, they just come straight at us with the freakish gender bending shit, the propaganda in toddlers' schools, and the men breaking womens sports records, and any criticism of it is treated as "unreasonable" and "bigoted". I've never seen anything like this before.

2010-2014: If you were on the internet in this time, you would have seen the 100+ genders bullshit leaking out of Tumblr, but everyone saw it as a meme and never took it seriously. The common stock phrase in this time was "It's just kids on Tumblr bro, they'll never have power in the real world". Normalfags didn't know about any of this because the troon shit basically never leaked IRL at this time.
2015-2019: This is where transgenderism leaked into the real world, starting in a big way with Caitlyn Jenner's "coming out as trans" magazine cover. Suddenly it became a big topic of political debate, and normalfags would have been aware of it, and you might have even started meeting trans people IRL especially at universities and in major cities. But for most of this time it was still treated as a joke, even many normalfags openly mocked trans ideology, and it didn't have cultural hegemony in this time
2020-Present: The current era where suddenly, after covid, transgenders are now EVERYWHERE, they seem to have quadrupled in numbers, they suddenly have massive influence to force their ideology everywhere and cancel those who oppose it. There's no more debate, no more questioning, just uncritical "trans affirmation" everywhere and no possible way of escaping it. Now you can walk down your street even in a small town and see trannies randomly walking around and trans flags being flown in the windows of local businesses, despite the fact this was all completely unheard of just a few short years ago.
Somebody let women have power. And the only thing funnier than women, is men in dresses claiming to be women.
