This is true, if you zoom out im sure you will see a state or county park adjoining the residential are, or at least close by. You also meet lots of kids in the neighborhood in these devlopments when growing up, so its good for families. It only seems bad when looking down from 10,000 ft

Yeah honestly it is but basically only because of the weird zoning regulations in the US that doesn't allow people to open up businesses in those urban sprawls. This would be much more /comfy/ if there was like a big shopping mall in the center or a string of buildings purposefully built so that the people living there could open up diners, hardware stores, and grocery stores etc etc

This is the biggest problem of US suburbia.

Suburbs are awesome we have shooting ranges, movie theaters, gyms, parks, hiking trails, rock climbing faces, go karts, water parks, theme parks all within like 30 to 45 min drive. Living in a suburb is awesome
