In a way, the hundreds of civvie deaths are the Ukraine's fault for using civilians as meat shields.

maybe i'm retarded in how i say it, but think about it why would you give the enemy ample time to evacuate civilians, instead of blitzkreiging through the lands like what happened in the first weeks when russian forces were near Kiev? because you don't want to endanger them. obviously, that is easy to exploit by just not letting any civilians move, like what ukraine did, so you have a starving meat shield that your enemy, being the good guys they are, has to deal with.
