I was in a lot of luring channels on swiftirc when this happened. so this bug was known about for a at least 2 days cursed you got his money for 99 con from using the bug to kill people for their rares they would go to the edge of the wild with rares thinking they would be safe their too smart for the lure then they would get attacked and killed. jagex never really kept logs of things at that some so people thought they got pulled into the wild some how
cursed you made thousands off this bug and knew the window of it working was closing so he had a 99 construction party and unleashed a bunch of people with the ability to attack out of the wild durial did the most public thing and went on a rampage instead of sniping party hats

I remember when they did the world 666 event and they had the giant Durial spawn in. On rs3 they have a plaque in fally park now commemorating the event. Strangely enough, they've added world pking, bounty worlds, etc. And yet, as far as I know, they've never unbanned Durial.

Durial was a QA tester originally, which had access to various dev tools.
Like account/character creation and the ability to give items and anything really to them.
A QA character was banned, not a real character. I'm sure Durial was never punished for the Falador attack.
In fact I've been told he was rewarded for such behavior and was turned into an admin after for developing player based exploit lore.
The proof Duriel was not just a regular player is S Y N I the character who was filming it all.
