>McDonald’s is the latest fast-food giant to complete a trial of a Beyond Meat plant-based product (the McPlant burger).

>JPMorgan Chase & Co. analyst Ken Goldman released a market research note that indicated the product was being broadly discontinued in the U.S. last Thursday. The two companies signed a three-year global distribution deal in 2021.

>Mr. Goldman, who spoke with employees at 25 McDonald’s locations, wrote that “Not surprisingly, the reason sometimes being cited is that the product did not sell well enough” and that the product was “McDone” in the U.S., according to The Fly, a financial news site.

>Other trials at Panda Express and Yum! Brands (KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut) have also ended without a subsequent product launch. Beyond Meat products at Dunkin’, Hardee’s, and A&W have been discontinued after launching.

>“You’re not going to change cultural tastes overnight. Recruiting your next phase of consumers requires more innovation and better-tasting products,” John Baumgartner, an analyst for the Japanese bank Mizuho, told Reuters.

>Beyond Meat cut 40 jobs Wednesday in an effort to save money before it burns through all of its remaining cash. In 2022, its stocks have fallen by almost 50% and fell by a similar amount in 2021.

Who the fuck actually enjoys this shit?
I tried an impossible whopper years ago and it tasted like fucking charred chemicals

Because in markets where there's enough vegetarians to offer a plant based option they already offer bean burgers and they're good. Beyond meat is for people who already eat meat.

Because what the Goy really wants is bugmeat.

That's the flavor of the "char broiler" bro, normally the flavor of the meat mostly covers it up but an impossible burger doesn't have it. I tried an impossible burder side by side with a real burger cooked on the same grill, the fake one tasted more like tofu than actual beef but wasn't completely horrible.

I noticed a sharp taste drop after eating at a german, then a french and later on an american mcd.
The american was absolute garbage.

>You don't want to eat ze plants?
>Okay you vill eat ze bugs instead
Thanks Mr. Schwab.

It's a burger made of onions. Of course it tasted like tofu, you fucking retard.

It tasted like pork to me

S OH Y. SOI
Fucking filters.

We got to cocky WEF bros.

Instead of trying to convert normal people to onions consumers, why not go after a market that's already filled with vegetarians, f.ex. India.

That isn't even the worst part.
It's the shits, man. Plant based meat like beyond meat turns your shit into literal slop.

Lake of fiber and ruffage.

This was the problem from the start. The demographic was always going to be people who already buy veggie burgers. Tiny market. Beyond Meat and the others were hoping for an expanded demographic with zero basis to believe that would be the case. Yeah it's a different kind of veggie burger, it tastes different than veggie burgers, but it was never going to appeal to a broader range of consumers. Doomed to fail.

Are you a woman now after eating all of that estrogen?

Why are you calling me a retard for saying something that makes perfect sense?
Oh

I was always under the assumption that they were pushing the plant faggotry even though they knew it was not profitable.

Attached: 1653401715256.png (536x683, 394.85K)

Vegetarians already have burger substitutes like black bean burgers which they enjoy and are made of real ingredients. Beyond meat was always designed not for vegetarians and vegans but for meat eaters. They wanted to create fake meat to feed meat eaters rather than create a vegetarian product for vegetarians. It was clearly backed by the ESG financial mafia, probably with the assumption that meat would become scarce and expensive due to ESG policies. Unfortunately nobody gives a damn about your goyslop Larry Fink. How Jewish are you with a name like Fink?

Tempted to say look for government subsidies into plant based meat alternatives.
Might explain the big corporate push.

if you want to eat vegetables go and eat fucking fresh vegetables not processed compost condensed ito a burger

>Baumgartner
KIKED.com

>a bunch of kikes openly discussing engineering our tastes and habits
>no worries, didn't work THIS time
never relax

They're just trying to capitalize on the latest trend, it'll go the way of Crystal Pepsi soon enough.

>You’re not going to change cultural tastes overnight. Recruiting your next phase of consumers requires more innovation and better-tasting products,” John Baumgartner, an analyst for the Japanese bank Mizuho, told Reuters.

In other words, it sells like shit because it tastes like shit.

They already do vegetarian options there. This is all part of the psycho push to save the planet and get everyone off meat. when it doesn't work they'll try to price people out of meat

nigger, if you are a vegetarian at least have the decency to eat beans and vegetables, not some ultraprocessed frankenstein monster garbage where you torture a bean in some factory until it looks like a stak

-I'm a man, and don't need extra estrogen
-I can tell the difference between real meat and fake meat. I'm not a fan of the taste of fake meat, so, not really feeling cool with buying and paying for any more of it.
-People want to try new and trendy things, even if they end up sucking in the long term. Short term gains is not indicative of long term profits and growth. That's something the Left fails to understand at almost all levels of government, entertainment, food production, and media control - and it's not surprising it failed in this case.
-I am not gay

Perhaps you might describe it as a seared bite?
Niggers and Jews can tongue my anus, the white man will have his world back soon

>WHY ARENT GOYS EATING THE PLANT MEAT?!
Because it is not trendy any more. The sheep have a limited capacity to process things and Ukraine, Russia and the (((energy crisis))) are the most current things. Take that Putin!

You're likely right. This and user who mentioned ESG investing.

Yeah, I know it's all shitty onion products, but the Morningstar black bean patties do taste good.

>Israeli söislop
It was never going to succeed.

they don't want you eating vegetables from 15km from your town, they want you eating ultraprocessed fake meat from some factory from Bill Gates at 8000km from your country, same with bugs, it won't be crickets grown in your town or in your backyard, you'll have to import bug powder from some hellish manufacturing process

Probably because they are overpriced as fuck.
I'm not really opposed to plant based burgers but I'm not gonna pay more than for a real one.

They're Israeli and subsidised by various NGOs through the WEF.
Beyond Meat was supposed to do all the R&D and mass fabrication of sôislop products so after the Great Reset there'd be something disastrous to feed the söyim.

>plant burger
We're living in a South Park episode and it's shit, I want out.

>NOOOO CAPITALISM IS A LIE

What a dumb fucking commie. Business push things they anticipate to be popular in the future, but aren’t popular in the present, all the damn time. And the market (us) decides if it actually will be popular. Business get it wrong all the time

Goybean is a good one...

Been that way for a few years now.

Attached: 1659563055392169.jpg (952x960, 70.13K)

Stop lying

>söyim
lmao

And "Mr Goldman" didn't trip your kike radar?

>"You’re not going to change cultural tastes overnight. Recruiting your next phase of consumers requires more innovation and better-tasting products,”

I'm not eating bugs just because you fucking mash them up so well I can't tell you jew fucks

Why do vegans want anything that remotely resembles meat if they despise it so much? Clearly they crave meat.

hes Canadian, don't listen to him. Chances are hes a fresh off the boat chang

Crystal Pepsi is good, though. Don't you dare compare the king of soda to that slop.

thats cope.
we've been past that point ages ago. you're just not paying attention.

As a fatty who eats fast food at least twice a week, its like these people have no idea who their own customers are. Because of their sample size it includes just about everyone, but to think someone would willing pay MORE money for a non-meat burger or chicken at a fast food place just makes no sense. That day worker just wanting a hot burger, the tubolard wanting 3000 calories for lunch, or the poor person wanting a meal for $6. Who did they think would opt for a plant based burger?

I never ate one of these monstrosities because of all the marketing around it. When people are smiling saying they couldn't tell the difference between whatever lab created wafer and a patty of cheap meat means they found the dumbest people in the US to testify, or were simply paid. The beyond meat stuff at the grocery store looks like meat if you glance at it, but if you stop and inspect, it looks diseased.

>costs more money than real meat
>tastes shittier than real meat
>possibly makes you gay or grow boobies, which not everyone wants

Question is: Can you actually give someone that isn't a raging veggie-head-homo a reason to want to consistently purchase and eat fake/plant-based meat products?

Because the 'Oh boy, it's something new!' novelty has well worn off. In terms of health, those fake meat products are so processed and laced with all kind of chemicals to make them taste like 'real' meat...why wouldn't a true veggiefag or healthy-fag just choose to eat a regular salad made with raw ingredients, anyway?

I accidently bought an Impossible burger when it was released at A&W before knowing what it was. I thought it was just a meme name for a burger. After 2 bites I asked for a papa burger because it tasted like cardboard

>burnt out taste buds
>Pepsi king of soda

Nigger u have no taste buds left

That’s not entirely true. I’m pretty sure beyond isn’t vegan, but I don’t even think it vegetarian. It’s marketed towards flexitarians, but nobody who does that is gonna eat a fake burger that’s less healthy than the meat patty

Like most people, a lot of these executive types are stuck in their own bubble. A lot of these upper class types are heavily exposed to bourgeoise trendy fads that are succeeding somewhat and think it's representative of the rest of the world.

If you made a choice like this you would get fucking fired mate.... No one would decide to do something so fucking risky for no reason. A product doomed to fail, millions pumped in... how can you think this shit is real? The only possible reason I could see for them pushing it is the ESG bullshit and the reduced cost of these fake foods compared to real foods. Basically they are a bunch of disgusting kikes. They don't deserve another dollar and should go out of business.

100% This.
I went vegan for a few months out of curiosity. found out it was massively underrated. clear head, better sleep, more energy during the day, I don't even remember any negatives other than flavor. and despite actually pretty much eating the same rice/potato vegetable stew with black beans three times a day I found out that meal was better than any meat substitute out there. even tofu was amazing compared to the trannyized chemical slop that was marketed as filling the hole in your diet where meat used to be.

want to vegan? do it or don't, but be aware you're eating nothing clean if you literally can't describe let alone pronounce the "ingredients" on meat substitutes.

It's not a trend though.

I tried it once. It tastes like cat food smells. Definitely doesn't taste like meat. Vegans are Beyond:registered: retarded.

it costs more, it's tastes worse, and it's more processed
why would I want that garbage
