No, our military is in a transitional period and we rely too much on US intel for them not to be a part of it. If our supercarriers actually had aircraft on them we could perhaps win a very boring war of attrition.

For their part China has zero capability to bring anything to our shores, their blue water navy is nothing, most of their ships can barely travel beyond their own terrestrial waters and marching through Eurasia to cross the channel probably wouldn't go very well for them.

So, outside of nukes and ICBMs we can't actually do any damage to each other. If they targeted cities with missiles, we'd just nuke them with subs. It would 100% turn into an economic or proxy war almost immediately.
