The thing about direct democracy is that it is only marginally better. Switzerland, the only example of modern direct democracy (at least in some ways), isn't a lot less cucked than the rest of Europe.

What you're describing is libertarianism with very limited government scope in terms of geography (otherwise it wouldn't be feasible to devise a plan to benefit hundreds of millions of people at the same time). Libertarianism and ancap are only compatible with those who are prepared to be responsible for their decisions and actions.

Information technology makes it so that we don't need to cram a limited number of people into a building as our governing body.
House and Senate should be merged into some new body with about 200 elected members. New House formed that holds thousands. These people aren't elected but they are randomly selected, similar to jury duty. Each individual can server an x number of years and a report card is sent to constituents and can be voted out if the system selected some nut job. This would solve a lot of problems.

lol this is what businesses do by lobbying. there isnt coherent plans that are pursued that arent within their own self interest at least not publicly. the only thing i think works collectively working towards is self reliance and giving people the means for independence. right now peoples sovereignty isnt valued tech that wants to read your mind and predict every move you make is just evil.
