There's little opportunity to use slave labor in semiconductor manufacturing - these are not labor intensive.

Europe (like America) has been discouraging the buildup of new industry for decades. Tons of red tape and government regulations, a population that dreams about being faggot influencers instead of doing real jobs, an education system that values pronouns and self-flaggelation instead of technology.

Working in a chip plant is incredibly repetitive but the work has to be performed to a high standard. Bugmen are perfect for this, westerners aren't autistic enough for that kind of high precision repetition.

They've primarily been moving EU countries towards more individually specialised production so we are reliant on each other for everything and the EU as a middle-man
