Everything is, now that we have Chinese clothing manufacturers and digital design. It was one thing when the subculture was born and everyone was focused on making/customizing their own clothes, printing their own magazines with work from others in the culture, and organizing events regardless of local codes. i would say punk is more left wing, and death metal is more right wing but most death metal would have been classified as punk 15 years ago. death metal basically had to create their own genre in order to escape the cucked left punks. its more complicated but thats about it.
