Nothing will happen. Our government has no rules for accountability. Liberals aren't going to call an election because the MPs know they'll lose most of their jobs. NDP will keep siding with the Liberals to keep them in power until 2025 so that Singh qualifies for MP pension - that was the entire point of the last election. Even if there was an election, the four big Eastern cities have been pumped so full of immigrants that they will ensure the Liberals have a minority government. There are supposedly ethics rules on employment at least in STEM where you cannot accept a job that you are not qualified for as negligence falls on you when things go wrong.
