It is now called the J-10 and is the mainstay of the Chinese Air Force. Israel has also sold China missile guidance systems,, advanced radar systems and targeting systems.
3. Israel is a diplomatic liability.
4. Military aid to Israel is illegal under the Leahy Law because of Israel's human rights violations. Any aid to Israel is illegal under the Symington amendment which prohibits aid to nations with nuclear weapons that have not signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and do not permit inspections of their nuclear sites,,,
US aid is a backdoor subsidy to the US Military industrial complex. Thats its purpose. To give constant contracts to the US arms industry.
Israel, like Taiwan, South Korea, Morocco is being given this aid so USA has a springboard in their region if the needs arrive to send troops in that particular region of the world.
The US military budget is the largest in the world and the United States is the largest exporter of weapons. The American Military Industrial Complex does not need subsidies.
Israel is not need as a springboard in the Middle East, The U.S. has bases all over the Middle East (see map)
