The situation in Taiwan is beyond salvageable. The United States has disrespected China at it's core and fundamental beliefs. The red line has not just been crossed, it's been trampled and pissed upon. There is no other option for the CCP, they must invade Taiwan.
Did you truly believe Pelosi's plane would be brought down? And what good what that provide China, besides a rushed war footing? As I said, the line has been crossed, now war preparations will ensue. There's no other way this plays out.
Your current future outlook should include war with China. Perhaps you won't be doing the actual fighting, but there will be many aspects of daily life that are affected by such a war. There is also the real possibility that the United States could lose, and if we're lucky a cease-fire can be had and we can keep our country. I'm not sure how it will play out. Perhaps we might also win. I'm just saying that war is definitely coming.
Either way, this war has the potential to be very destructive. We will be engaged in a high-intensity conflict, one that could see millions of dead in a single day, and this sort of thing will be our new normal.
