Spain, Italy etc. were still 90%+ White. When there are very few minorities in a country, they keep their heads down and don't cause many problems. You're comparing apples and oranges when you compare homogeneous White nation-states to a diverse multiculti democracy like America. Here in America, we have White rednecks voting for Trump, even though it was in their economic and class interests to vote for Hillary. They voted along racial and religious lines. And Obama wasn't just the candidate who wanted to fix the healthcare system. He was also the candidate who had the UNCONDITIONAL support of a large chunk of the Black community. Democracy is supposed to be a contest of ideas, but in multiculti societies it becomes partially a racial headcount.
