Why don’t they dig massive tunnels across straight and below the island? Then they can stealthy millions move troops and military equipment hundreds of miles so they can surface on Taiwan’s major cities. They could also use the naval blockade and the amphibians invasion as a faint.

Or they could build peninsulas on either side of the island, and keep going out to sea and curving round until the new chinese land completely surrounded the island. Then, Murca would have to cross over chinese territory to rescue the Taiwanese after China invades, and they wouldn't dare because WW3.
