I think this small happening deserves a second thread. qrd austrian doctor was critical of antivaxxers. she also prescribed the atshma spray Budesonid and advocated for it. Astrazeneca contacted her because they registered the prescription of said medication had multiplied. she gave many interviews whre she accused experts of not caring about her discovery. eventually she gained the attention of mask refuseniks and received death threats per email. cops failed to help her, just offer to patrol her practive.she hired a bodyguard, had a panic room installed in her practice and even slept in her practice out of fear. then she went bankrupt from the costs and closed the practice because she feard for the live of her patients and coworkers. she said she wanted to take some time off and recover in the mountains. two weeks ago she tried to committ suicide. after 1 night in psychiatric care she was released. 29.07 she was found dead by suicide in her practice. now there are protests and anger in Austria about police, politicians and most of all - antivaxxers. some of them say she was killed, others say she sudoku'ed because she found out that the vaccines are bad and felt guilt. but this death will have consequences one way or another I'm sure. she left a suicide note but they won't publish it, of course. archive ph/UW927
I also wanted to answer some user's question. November 21 there was a protest at a hospital in Wels, Austria. she said they blocked the ambulance entrance, but police said they didn't. but the video shows they actually did imho. but there was an alternative entrance at least. this incident marks the begining of the escalation against her.
I used the best picture of her I could find. but I think this is really a weird case. is it normal to release people who made a suicide attempt the next day?
