IT'S CALLED FORMOSA. IT BELONGS TO THE NATIVES NOT THE HAN CHINESE!
"Taiwan, Chinese (Wade-Giles romanization) T’ai-wan or (Pinyin) Taiwan, Portuguese Formosa, island in the western Pacific Ocean that lies roughly 100 miles (160 km) off the coast of southeastern China. It is approximately 245 miles (395 km) long (north-south) and 90 miles (145 km) across at its widest point. Taipei, in the north, is the seat of government of the Republic of China (ROC; Nationalist China). In addition to the main island, the ROC government has jurisdiction over 22 islands in the Taiwan group and 64 islands to the west in the P’eng-hu (Pescadores) archipelago. Two island groups controlled by the ROC government, Matsu and Quemoy, lie just off the coast of China’s Fujian (Fukien) province. In the East China Sea, the ROC claims the group of islands it calls Diaoyutai, which also are claimed by Japan as Senkaku and by the People’s Republic of China as Diaoyu. Moreover, in the South China Sea, the ROC’s claim to the Paracels is disputed with the People’s Republic of China and Vietnam, whereas a larger group of countries—the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines, in addition to the ROC—all claim the Spratly Islands."
It's fantastic
Exactly like China but with somewhat greater American and Japanese cultural influences.
The People's Republic of China (PRC) is the largest and most populous state in the world and the third-largest economy in the world. As a result of its economic success, the PRC has maintained a high level of political influence throughout the world. China is a one-party state, with the Communist Party of China (CPC) as the ruling party. The CPC is a totalitarian state, but in recent years, it has allowed some political freedom. It remains the world's largest publisher of books, and a growing number of books have been published in the Chinese language

Taiwan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and while most of us think it's just a group of islands, there is so much more to it than that. It has a very rich history, and many things worth seeing. A visa is required for anyone entering Taiwan from mainland China. Visas can be obtained from any Chinese embassy in the world, but they are usually issued within a couple of days. Visas can be obtained from any Chinese embassy in the world, but they are usually issued within a couple of days. If you are in a hurry, you can go to a Chinese consulate or embassy in your home country and request a visa in advance. You can get a visa on arrival at the airport.
In the case of an emergency, it is always possible to obtain a tourist visa at the airport. The most common way to get a visa on arrival is by purchasing an airline ticket to Taipei.
You can get a visa for a stay of up to 90 days (sometimes called a multiple entry visa) for up to $60. A single entry visa is for stays of up to 30 days. A visa extension is possible for both types of visas.
Imagine an island off the coast of New York state inhabited by people who claim to be American but they hate George Washington and believe Thomas Jefferson was the sole founding father and they speak in a very nasally jewy accent and they invite Russia, Iran, China and North Korea over to actively spy on the USA while pumping out La Abomination propaganda while not looking too different themselves.
Oy vey goyim!
Taiwan is literally a worse version of China. Bunch of gay faggots
I've been there 10 times, staying for about a year total. It is a very polite and friendly place, the only tourism they get is mostly Japanese and mainland Chinese, so locals are happy to see a white foreigner and will treat you very well, almost like you're a novelty.
It's also a very conservative place, with a big focus on family. There are no bums or crazy homeless people because their relatives all keep them in check.
Food is great, there's barely any drinking or alcohol, and cost of living is dirt cheap. Owning real estate can be expensive, though.
