Math and hard sciences articles (I imagine this also includes geology, biology, etc) articles are still good. Obviously as a source for history it's only good for getting a starting resource pool via the references.

I don't really care about biology so I don't know. I mainly stick to math and cs sections.
Occasionally, I'll read a geography article or an article about an animal.
Not really sure how biology can be fucked with as a field. Admittedly, the only biology class I took dealt almost exclusively with the cell and it's processes so that's what I think of.

I was building an algo to do some stuff. I have a quant background. Stats packages were an obvious part of the model. Very obvious. Paid a lot of money to academia jews to know this.
After like a year of optimization, I decided to try it without any stats as if I was actually building it from absolute scratch like a child.
It worked better and was like 1000x faster.
