I was "depressed" for many years. I couldnt even get up from bed for weeks back in the days. Solution: Work out; vitamins; positive thinking; nofap; HYDRATION. the last one is the most important. If I'm not hydrated. I feel like shit, I feel "depressed"

I had "depression", wanted to kill myself everyday
Actually it started way back when I was 11, when my mother abused me and I decided at that point I aint going to live life anymore
Just decided I will play video games till Im 20 something and then Id off myself
So 21 hit, Im still alive and feeling worthless
Decided to fix it
Tried pills - just made me sociopathic
Tried working out everyday, getting more education, making actual friends, learning to socialize and fixing certain weaknesses and medical issues - now Im about 80% there
Have a few more things to take care of and I think all of the suicidal bs will be gone
Most of it is gone now, but I still get those moments every once in a while

here is the truth: reality sucks right now, its really bad
none of the boomers had to deal with the shit we deal with now
you have to be real fucking strong nowadays to enjoy life, know the truth and have faith that all of it will work out eventually

Eat good, be positive, work out (doing martial arts is way better), FULFILL YOUR INTELLECTUAL NEEDS, and have some friends, thats what helped

I started researching physics on my own and got way happier out of nowhere

So all of it is lifestyle based
Yes, some people do too much cocaine and their brain is fucked forever, may be pills would help those people, who knows, but it sure doesnt make sense to medicate a healthy person

Try switching to a primarily meat based diet, especially grass fed beef, or wild game if you can find it. Take magnesium supplements, especially citrate. Exercise. Avoid sugars, grains. Your weight well self-regulate, fitness will improve almost automatically, and depressive illness will vanish. Been there, done that. Changed my life.
