It had just got played out as a concept. It was also at its best in the 2015-6 era because Any Forums still believed there was hope, that we could turn things around if we just kept pushing.
Many MM eps can be viewed as snapshots of how Any Forums (and the online right in general) were feeling at any given point. The Tarrant/Trump Train ep is very significant in that context as it was the point at which the Murdochs appear to have accepted that there was no way to vote our way out of the problem like we had thought.
Imo Hold Back The Night is one of the best early examples of the energy on Any Forums in 2015 or so, it was so hopeful, we were winning at last. I think the realisation that things were only going to get worse kind of broke MM's spirit a bit, so it was natural to wind up the project and focus on making a happy white family with MC.
I also loved the AMAs but I'm glad they stopped. Recording conversations where you get hammered with friends is a great way to let identifying information slip accidentally, they're a huge dox risk imo. Along with Jizzhands and Halberstram they're some of the only 2015-era people who were careful enough to never get doxxed, so it's important it stays that way

I like that Murdoch released a book but imo it needs a ground-up copyedit for a second version. Not a full rewrite but just a copyeditor to mash it into a more readable shape
