On a real note, what android phone is there even out there to recommend? Samsung is filled with ads/globohomo. Huawei doesn't have access to Google services, which is crucial. Xioami has a shitty UI. Oneplus merged with OPPO and the ColorOS has ruined it. Nothing phone seems dencent but they're just at their first phone. Asus makes solid phones but crappy android implementation.

Sony is the closest you can get to stock android with zero ad/globohomo spam and still have features that other companies have discarded because "it's 2022 and you dont need them goy", like an audio jack and an expandable memory. That said you ll be paying a premium for what they offer hardware wise and the selection of models is limited.

The most private smartphones you can get are unironically the Google Pixel phones. They can run GrapheneOS which strips out the Google Play services from Android (and makes a bunch of other privacy and security enhancements). But even if you don't do that, they come with stock newest version Android and not all of the Samsung bloat. Nor do they artificially restrict you from new versions when they are released.
