Julian Assange "was persecuted for exposing war crimes, torture and corruption."
This was stated by the UN Special Rapporteur on the prevention of Torture, Nils Meltzer.
"Having studied the Assange case, I found irrefutable evidence of political persecution, legal arbitrariness, torture and deliberately ill—treatment," Meltzer told the French magazine Le Monde diplomatique.
"The Assange case is a story of deliberate judicial arbitrariness in Western democracies, which also want to present themselves as exemplary in terms of human rights. It is also a story about deliberate collusion of the special services."
They fucked him over. The guy should be regarded as hero and not fear for his life and future

Highest & most Notorious Prison; Belmarsh.

Of course he was. That's why the banks blacklisted wikileaks, but that is also what made them get a lot of Bitcoin back in 2011 or so. It is also around that time that it caused Satoshi to have to disappear. Assange is a hero and anyone who says otherwise is a disingenuous shill. Just look at how EVERY government seethes over him. He is a national treasure and has done more for liberty than everyone on this website combined.
Still in London, IIRC, awaiting to be extradited. That's last I heard.

It is a great example of how our justice system works. When the people with guns have an interest in seeing a man destroyed they will ruin your life and all the snivelling little cowardly vaxx and mask cucks will fall in line to appease them at the expense of what is right.
First they said he was a rapist, then they said it was computer hacking, then they said it was treason. If this is democracy then, democracy is shit.
Mason Ramirez
Why isn't he on the end of a rope?
Jacob Brown
You boomer retard. I meant to the article OP quoted from. Fuck you’re dumb.
Jacob Davis
What’s his stay like you think? Solitary? They wouldn’t put a high value target like him in with common murderers and rapists I wouldn’t imagine.
Noah Campbell
Because he did nothing wrong.
Jaxson Martin
Others have visited him before. I have no clue to his living condition & only heard rumours but it wasn't looking good for him. He got Married in Prison but never got to 'Commemorate' the event, mental.
Jaxson Scott
everything OP is talking about and more is available and sourced in that article

Because he's a hero, fed

Julian is a hero. Fuck the government.
Logan Kelly
He released sensitive informations that foreign and special interests further pushed to destabilize the involved nations. We regard him as a hero because it shows how corrupt our establishments are and that other government branches are also affected to a point they fail to ridden this corruption, even after these revelations. At the same time, as mentioned before, these laws exist to protect us from third parties. Since the populations are too comfortable to do anything about all the massive corruption that has been publicly playing out in recent years, none of it matters anyways and the public outcry always dies down like all the others regarding scandals. Epstein was the last nail in the coffin - everyone knows, but nobody cares enough to actually take action
