It doesn't matter how strong the army is, at the end of the day it's an auxilliary army to US operations that depends on US for most of its equipment. The army is not loyal to the emperor but to ???? the us-written constitution or something. What the JSDF needs is not to become bigger like the (((Abe clique))) wants, all that army will do is, in the words of mishima, be a mercenary to the US fighting over maintaing us hegemony over east asia and ultimately japan.
What it needs is a spiritual revival as an independent army for an independent nation. The very name and organization must be ended to even begin reversing japan's century of humiliation.
