What does the Hopi Blue Corn taste like?
Any Hopis on Any Forums?
Maize
The three sisters
Corn bean and squash
Amaizing
Hopi here
It tastes like BBC
its just GMO corn
You mean the colour makes no difference to the taste? Apparently it's Non-GMO so it's all good.
Can't be true. Wouldn't out-crossing effect the colouration? Hopi Blue Corn has been bred for
at least 800 years.
Carlos!
Had when kid, its gud. Blue corn chips are commercially available. It's hard to describe. More like raw corn meal, less sweet or floury I guess you could say, more natural tasting more earthy
To be honest, user. I don't like corn anymore, I had a really bad experience with it.
Fuck guys
Feed corn just flew over my house
what does chlorophyll taste like? Pigment doesn’t mean flavor.
>Hopi Blue Corn has been bred for

In other words: Genetically Modified or GMO, duh.
Say something stupid again and see what happens.
whites were in america first
Thinking about growing Te Onetapu Moli Citruses (My own invention yet to come) which as a hybrid are hardy and can shed leaves like Desert Limes, Red-fruited with long fruit with rounded vesicles like Finger Lime and very Sweet and fair-sized like the Molis (Clymenia Polyandra) from Bismarck Islands, will be fun for whole family.
I know one Hopi word and that's Koyaanisqatsi and I think it's a good one. As far as corn is concerned why not have some delicious infected corn instead
Anthocyanin content can affect taste.
I live near the Hopi people. Blue corn is good for blue corn tortillas and chips, if made well. I recommend you try it.
bought a bag of blue corn chips and regular corn chips at the same time. Blue ones tasted a little different I think but they both tasted like corn.
BBC.
more grainy; almost like rice flour in flavor.
Let me know when they make some with potassium cyanide, I’ll eat the whole bag
It’s really not that good, but I’m not a big corn consumer.
GMO means being bastardised by Agrobacterium which inserts/deletes genes supposedly at the behest of the scientist involved in making it a GMO.
i mean technically this is just fungal mass like any mushroom or edible mycelium.
its not bacteria.
no, blue corn does indeed taste significantly different.
Would smell and taste like bitter Almonds.
I'll have to go to Arizona some day.
I think this makes it healthier. In general corn is used to fatten livestock, GMO corn isn’t that healthy and your probably better off skipping a meal than eating regular corn.
But would you eat it?
