Were the 90's really better?
Were the 90's really better?
My family member used to rent an apartment for $250 in the 90s, yes. It's so bad now.
1998 was the peak of life.
unironically
Maybe 1898.
>picrel
lol, no
>My family member used to rent an apartment for $250 in the 90s, yes. It's so bad now.
With a $7/hr salary, by the way.
There is no political solution.
Damn, that would be 3-4 million USD up here in Canada.
My dad sold cars and our house was 5k Sq ft with 3 floors and a basement
my dad moved here from albania in 90s and could rent cheap apartment in LA working construction, now forget about it
Yeh
Trudeau spent more of Canada's money in the last 3 years than all of world war 2 stop pretending boomers havent fucked us.
>Were the 90's really better?
Yes, no question about it and 90's weren't even that great. We've been on a downward trend for a long time.
ITT: newfags don’t recognize the house from the sopranos
Even tone had to work with jews
That was still the somewhat rich guys house. If he worked in waste management he was the manager
>Also OP's a faggot
$7 an hour, $250 rent
now it's $15 an hour, $1500 rent
do the math
Marone, those were the days
Capitalism the ultimate scam
Your dad was the reason why everyone hates car salesmen
Yes, but only compared to now. Society was already collapsing, even then.
No. You do the math motherfucler
Millenials have been voting for more than two decades. It's time to stop blaming other people for your own failures.
>$1500 rent
lmao try $2000 for a 1 bedroom in any major or surrounding city in Ontario or BC.
Where I live that house would list for $1.8 million bucks now and still have a bidding war for it. Society tries telling us that it's "normal" and every family should have two incomes to pay the mortgage. I can't imagine coming home from a hard day's work to nothing cooked, a messy house and kids who have been raised completely by strangers.
I was talking with my dad the other day about my first apartment, which was $275 back in 2005. Even in 2018, I was only paying $525 for a place (but that was an unusually good deal).
I bought a house in 2020, but my old apartment recently rented for $925. (No major improvements, either.)
I bought my first home, a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom new build, in 2003 for $155 000.
>government spending
>capitalism
Maybe the problem is too many retards getting a say in how society is run.
It’s a very difficult situation
>doesn't consume jewish propaganda
>newfags
lol
lmao
Shit really hit the fan in 2000 huh?
Damn thats Commiefornia tier
What does watching the sopranos have to do with being a newfag? Retard nigger
I was in my 50s back then. I would go door to door since I was a part of the Jehovah witness cult and ask some of the cuties who answered the door if they want my number *wink wink*. I have a little old perv and I still am today. Back in the day I would pay these cute streetwhores to fart on my face for only 5 bones hhahaahahahahaha
Isn't that Tony Soprano's house asshole?
