Show is overated a was unrealistic. Cartel would have killed him before season 2 was over. Hollywood is never accurate with the cartel and they make them look like some street gang. If the cartel wants you dead they will scope out your place, contact there own contacts in the local pd to figure out the best time, and it will be a break in/robbery that leaves the target and all witnesses dead. Might use a knife if it's suburban or just a handgun if it's rural. There is no glamour and dramatic interactions. The only thing they did well is the Polo Loco chicken operation. Filbertos is owned by the Mexican Mafia. It's a money laundering and storage center.
