I never used Reddit but I am a 2014 newfag.

Never used reddit before, been on Any Forums since 05' after my local news reported it, I forgot what the topic was, probably about moot.

NGL I have browsed it starting 2016 for Linux commands on debian, but I still haven't made an account, because I just hate niggers way too much.

I started lurking when Amanda/Todd died (2012?) and was posting a few months after that. I don’t think I visited Reddit until 2014. Back then you still had a few niche subreddits that were like entirely different universes from the rest of the site (e.g. anarcho_capitalism, DebateFascism, AltRight, DarkEnlightenment, etc). All of those places are either gone now or the communities surrounding them died or got replaced. It was actually a far better experience than Any Forums at the time. Because accounts were pseudonymous rather than anonymous, you could filter out retards and it was far more obvious when someone was trolling. Since it required no email or any other verification to sign up, you still got just as much variety in content as you would see on Any Forums. Admittedly something about the site made it terminally unfunny, Any Forums has always been better for that.

Most of the advantages Reddit had are gone now because while you can still make accounts freely, it’s impossible to post basically anywhere interesting until you hit a certain threshold of karma. Content is policed a lot more, all the good communities were banned, and the admins aren’t even really pretending that they aren’t a publisher (and in the case of spez, an editor) because they know no one is coming after them.

Came here after they shut down r/MGTOW. There was nowhere left on that shit site to discuss real problems without smarmy consensus seeking sois breathing down your neck waiting to pounce on you for stepping out of line. Ever since I've been here and got redpilled on the JQ, the great replacement, race realism, the failures of feminism/multiracialism, crime statistics, the history of the world, how kiked everything is, and a whole lot more. Thanks reddit fags for indirectly guiding me toward the truth.
