militaries around the world are constantly moving shit around, I know there's a name for this phenomenon, but it's like when there's an earthquake somewhere and suddenly every single earthquake starts getting a news story no matter how minor and much more attention is paid to it that otherwise would not have been paid attention to if the first larger earthquake never happened.
Because there's more "tensions" over Taiwan, more people are recording and paying attention to things that normally happen all the time.
