We do this for natives here. They get to live for free on reserves, they get monthly checks for existing, pay no tax on reserve lands, get free post-secondary education, free houses, etc. Pic related is what happens when you treat adults as children and teach them to value nothing because it costs them nothing. Giving someone a handout is one of the greatest disservices you could do.
