I was on stormfront back then and we fought to try to keep the race of the suspects in the wikipedia article. This was when wikipedia at least had a pretense of being neutral.
They kept removing the mugshots from the article claiming they weren't relevant or were copyrighted or some other such claptrap. Mods had to come in and lock it because we kept adding them back in.
Eventually they deleted the entire article saying it wasn't a "notable" event
