I can actually digest meat. Insects are over 50% dead calories which provides no actual nutrition due to most of the protein being chitin.

I think the better question is why do starving brown people hate eating bugs? There are plenty of bugs in 3rd world nations yet if we don't send them pallets of real food they fucking starve to death. Another thing, how many cat food companies make their cat food out of bugs? I've seen cats eat bugs but fuck if I've ever seen a bag of cat food that contains bugs as a main ingredient. Chicken, tuna, beef, etc. but never fucking bugs.
