California as a whole is pretty shit on paper and in the news. Dumb policies and dumber people in the cities. But suburbs are okay for the most and quiet unless you live in or close to the nigger/spic zones. I moved here 15 years ago and knew the state was fucked then. I left somewhere worse for California weather. This state has been fubar for longer than you realize apparently but it has really stepped up the shithole game in the last few years. If you didn't see it before but do now maybe there is hope.
