Why has it become unpopular for gay men to make the effort to live straight lives? The left literally makes it sound worse than any prison sentence and I don't buy that narrative. There are plenty of exhomosexuals who claim living as straight is way more rewarding than living the gay hookup culture and being lgbt.

Whenever I meet a gay person, I inevitably find out that at least one of their parents treated them like shit. It's a chicken and the egg situation where don't know which one came first. And while natural doesn't necessarily mean better, the fact that we've evolved for hetero relationships for a hundred thousand years has to count for something.
I saw something a few years ago saying that couples feel happier when they have vaginal sex, but not anal or oral. That's stuck with me. In a similar vein, semen is apparently an antidepressant for women.
The slippery slope that conservatives warned us about has come true. We legalized gay marriage, and now we have mentally ill men calling themselves women and raping children and their female cellmates, which happened because the groups that fought for gay marriage pivoted to another tragic needs group instead of disbanding like they should have. An absurd percentage of people now identify as LGBTQ+, and it's become clear that people use those labels to feel special. I recently learned that the American Psychological Association removed homosexuality from the DSM not because they rationally discussed it and decided that it wasn't a mental illness, but because activists stormed their meeting and demanded that they remove it.
But, maybe the actual, sane gay people didn't choose to be gay just like you and I didn't choose to be straight. If they want to settle down monogamously and adopt kids, I support that. Straight sex is already pretty weird and gross, and a lot of straights apparently like buttstuff anyway.
