Belarus and Russia are still committed to that however in 2014 - 2015 the US and Israel managed to pull a colour revolution in Ukraine by creating protests and unrest in the country and than sending CIA + Mossad agents to shoot protestors, to make the govt look bad and create a popular uprising. This worked in taking over Western Ukraine (Which is more Polish influenced and thus more Western) - In fact the last 3 presidents of Ukraine were all of Jewish descent.

However the East remained pro Russian unification leading to a civil war and Russia annexing Crimea. The war remained a proxy war between the West and Russia since than and until recently the West decided they wanna add Ukraine to Nato and put nukes in the border between Russia and Ukraine, permanently aiming them at Moscow. That's of course unacceptable to Russia as it means a part of it, and in fact one of it's 4 historical capitals (Novgorod, Kiev, Moscow and Saint Petersburg) would be annexed by NATO + A massive security risk to their country with crazy Jewish lunatics having nukes aimed minutes away from their heartland. As such Russia declared war demanding that the most pro Russian unification parts of Ukraine would be allowed to join Russia + Ukraine would become a neutral buffer state between East and West + To clean up the neo-Nazi larping Satanist-Jewish Azov Battalion. The West thought they could win the war or perhaps they simply want to kill as many Ukrainians as they could, so they pressed on with the war refusing Russia's demands so far. Now Russia has been winning for months and killed off most of Ukraine's army as well as hundreds of thousands of Western mercenaries - The war was costly, so Russia has now decided to increase it's demands. Frankly they might just annex the whole of Ukraine if things continue as they are. And it's not a bad thing - It would be a victory of a CHRISTIAN STATE against Jewish globohomo.
