My alcohol withrawals are getting worse and its killing me

I have a tendency of binge drinking for a week then i quit for months after i get my blowjobs and all the fun out

Last time i had almost an entire bottle of vodka mixed with sprite and it fucked me up big time,its been 5 days and now i got a sore throat,muscle pain and dry cough,i think its a withrawal

Ye man. Fever, auditory and visual hallucinations, paranoia, brain zaps so you can't sleep for 2-3 days.. I've only been there twice but both times I "re-dosed" after it was over to get rid of some of the nasty feeling. Lol. Don't know how I didn't learn the first time that it just comes back but much worse even with just a small refill. I hear that each time you have it it's worse than the last, until you eventually die. No clue how real that is if you actually wait a long time in between but I'm not keen on trying.

Same kind of fiending you have of opiates or anything else but to a much lesser degree. The issue is that it's there permanently and it can get triggered by a lot of stuff like low blood sugar, stress, having a bad day, feeling festive, idk, a lot of shit. Then it actually triggers and it feels really unpleasant until you get your alcohol. Your entire day will be ruined if you don't get it and possibly the next day as well.

alcohol does more physical damage than most other addictive habits, but it's withdrawals don't last as long as many other of the most addictive substances like heroin or benzos

i was an alcoholic for 7 years. the first 2 days not drinking i was shaking and couldnt sleep and felt like total shit.. it actually got better pretty fast after that, by the end of the first week i felt great and had more energy than ive had for years.

I want to hear what you fags consider a lot of alcohol per day. None of these threads ever come close to drinking a lot IMO. Especially considering doctors nowadays will tell you youre an alcoholic for having 2 beers a day.

Been down that road before man, it sucks. I was drinking 2L a day of hard alcohol when I quit. Just stay strong it gets better. Go to the ER if it gets too bad because I had seizures when I first came off the drink and also started going in to cardiac arrest. Been sober by choice for 5 years, I’m 32 now, and life is pretty great. Good luck fren.

I drink the equivalent of half a bottle of hard alcohol a day, either just hard or a bunch of seltzers and beers. If no whiskey I'll drink at least a 12 pack. Is that a lot? I rarely feel drunk usually just a little buzzed by the end of the night

It's always varied a lot, but for the period where I got into the withdrawal thing a couple of times I'd go with 3-4 liters of 14% wine per day that I made myself in 40l batches. Had a shitton of it for cheap all the time. So I'd drink up the batch, from waking until passing out, day on day until it ran out. Then next batch.

The issue isn't TOO too much about /how/ much you drink each day, it's how long you keep drinking. Ofc amount plays a part, but as far as physical addiction goes it's a time game. I definitely have gone harder for maybe a week or two at a time whenever I had my distiller thing set up, but then you'd take a break and come back later (because 40%+ all the time really knocks you out if you go hard for a while, so you don't get up into the withdrawal thing)

5-6 handles of everclear a week at my absolute worst. Killed a 750ml bottle in under 3 hours the night my lungs almost shut down.

it might ACTUALLY be killing you. You can die from alcohol withdrawal. Seek medical treatment. Get into Alcoholics Anonymous. After detox get a sponsor. Go to meetings. Work the steps. Sponsor other people. Enjoy your new lease on life.

Only got through 3 of those in a week, 1,5L each, but holy shit that made you sick. They actually started adding isopropanol later on and I didn't notice until I had gone through like 4 of them all like "nah but I was just down before, this time if I eat more it'll be fine, it always used to be fine". Some of the worst hangovers of my life right there.
