Why is this happening?

High cost of living.

Political obviously

Years of bad policy choices leading to high costs of living driving Americans to find lower CoL states during this recession.

Baby boomers retiring, also a temporary benefit of allowing work from home, also republicans raised taxes on states like NY & ca as part of their "tax cut" plan

not everybody is sophisticated enough to enjoy the luxuries of their 350 sq ft mansions. you have to be tiny. americans are just too big.

Covid tyranny has consequences.

wow the south is getting BEANED and LIBBED at the same time. Thank god i live the eternal shithole of mississippi.

The post-Covid consequence of widespread remote work gave many people the perfect excuse to keep their cushy jobs but flee the crime-ridden shitholes that they were once stationed in.
The most honest vote is with your feet. Nobody actually likes diversity.

>Taxes/cost of living
>draconian covid policies in 2020-21
>permissive laws allowing criminal blacks to run free on bail and kill people
>restrictive gun laws
>destination states tended to crack down on 2020 BLM riots harder, while origin states mostly let them run wild and trash entire cities
>warmer weather (except for people going from California to Idaho)
>parents not wanting their kids learning about trans and black shit in the education system

One party in total control. It will lead to shit regardless of the party.

i have to get the fuck out of ny
expensive and people get shot every day

people just need to get used to backstabbing, it is human nature

parasites sloughing off of their host looking for new hosts.

so it's obvious, to anyone with half a brain, why they were so adamant about not including the citizenship test on the 2020 census; yes?

if you had moved to florida at the beginning of 2020, you would've gotten a year and a half of your life back. I went to the panhandle in sept 2020 and it was like a went back to 2019 for a few weeks. It was great.

Rats fleeing the democratic hell holes

i would happily move back to New York except for the taxes. the income tax. the real estate tax.
I think for the most part homes are pretty much the same value everywhere now if you factor in taxes

how do white people survive in arizona? literally 40c+ all summer, hell on earth

He's probably talking about the SALT deduction which allowed people in high tax states to pay lower federal taxes than those in low tax states.

almost no humidity
