They're NGMI. It's not that hard to do either, it's kinda like active dreaming while fully conscious, and it's possible to slip in and out of that state at will.

It's genetic. My internal monologue usually works when I'm trying to solve a problem or planning a strategy for problem solving (I work in engineering) or when I'm doing something utterly stupid and I ignore it sometimes but it's very helpful most of the time because it's like having another opinion
