Why are almost all leftists atheist?
Why are almost all leftists atheist?
They think God is supposed to be like a magical genie who grants wishes so naturally they’re quite bitter that they’re still ugly and poor.
because their hedonism is unjustified with a larger cosmic view
They lost touch with the primordial Tradition. Abrahamic religions are partly to blame for that, separating the exoteric and the esoteric for power and control was a wrong move in the long term. Hegel and materialism following the industrial revolution finished the job, effectively killing God within society. We are now witnessing the sad result of such a sabotage. Much is to be rebuilt after the reckoning we face.
>I don't know what atheism is
The thread
>>I don't know what atheism is
I do. It’s cringe.
what is atheism?
autism
>Hegel and materialism following the industrial revolution finished the job, effectively killing God
Nah, it was obvious that it was nonsensical as our understanding of the empirical grew.
They worship niggers and jews
A response to a claim
Then you'd realize you too are an atheist.
Don't forget to redeem your Cow piss, freak.
there are plenty of christian liberals
Because that's the one thing leftists get right. I don't understand why so many of us right-wingers are so religious. What evidence do you have for those religions existing besides your parents teaching you about them (Not even evidence lol)? Learn science, and by science I don't mean the pseudoscience of "eat the bugs its good for you," but actual science and fact. Religion is as much of a pseudoscience as the research on transgender therapy.
>Then you'd realize you too are an atheist
No. I’ve never experienced a crisis of faith.
Post nose.
>They think God is supposed to be like a magical genie who grants wishes
I mean that's what the NT says he's like. Matthew 7:7:
>Ask, and you will receive.
But it doesn't work like that in reality.
Then you believe every God mythos and religion? No, then you're an atheist to them. Atheism means lack of belief in God or gods, a response to their claim..
because they are gay, and God says being gay is bad. But if there's no God, and we are just clumps of cells without any thought or purpose behind whatsoever, sure, chomp off your dick and call yourself some made up gender, nothing matters anyways...
Science says this whole universe is one energy that banged into everything in existence. Tell me how that isn't God?
literalfags btfo
because "God" says the universe is ~6000 years old when that is proven to be false. The flood is also proven to be false. Let's say hypothetically the start of a universe was caused by a god of some kind, it for sure isn't any God or Gods in any religions today. I'm pretty sure the theory for the beginning of the universe is being changed anyway with new information. Regardless, I don't think it's wise to fill in the gaps with imagination that also contains things that for sure didn't happen. The vast majority of events in all religions didn't actually happen and this has been proven.
>Science says this whole universe is one energy that banged into everything in existence
Not really
>Tell me how that isn't God?
God of the gaps
>and we are just clumps of cells without any thought or purpose behind whatsoever
"Thought" and "purpose" are subjective and derived based on the individual. A lost of people don't need mysticism to live a good life
Exactly my thought. In the vast scope of the universe, our lives don't have meaning, the neighboring galaxy is not going to mourn our deaths. Life is important because we are sentient enough to give it meaning, and that is why I cherish it.
Atheism isn't any different from other religions. Unless you are a 500 IQ brainiac you won't have the time or opportunities to research everything that the current reiteration of the creation myth consists of.
What I mean by this is: you have to take people's word for it in most cases regarding how the world works. It's quite safe to say that the math is accurate and helps predict things that we can't measure, but there are tons of things that we can't explain.
I think that the whole appeal of religion is that you have something to agree on with a group of people, and in that sense, it isn't any different from a political alignment, metaphysics, nationality or liking marvel movies.
Explain what created this universe in scientific terms
I don't know, and I'm not claiming that I do
>Life is important because we are sentient enough to give it meaning, and that is why I cherish it.
This user gets it
>Atheism isn't any different from other religions.
Me: I don't believe in a god.
You: That's the exact same as believing in a god!!
>The level of retardation is palpable here.
The Bible is gay AF bro. Im not gonna argue the Christians got it right but to assume all of this comes from randomness makes no sense. Everything is too perfect. Our consciousness alone shows the universe is intelligent and conscious of itself. We are a part of the universe so our being conscious is evidence the universe is conscious when in human Form.
>taking it literally
Wow
No. Atheism is the absence of faith or belief in God. I respect their beliefs insofar as having faith. You have no faith you are spiritually void.
I don't expect a Canadian to understand, but I'll try to explain it.
For a lot of people, atheism is a sense of pride, maybe they won't even talk to people who are religious. They won't accept any worldviews outside of their own, even if they don't know how to answer to their argument. Do you see what I mean, friend?
It's the same as in it's a theory of the metaphysical which uses the physical empirical as it's means of revelation. The intuitive and rational axis of epistemology is what gives deism and revelation it's axiomatic grounding.
Neither am I. Anyone who tells you he knows what's going on here is speaking nonsense. The best we can give is words the Buddhists use like Tathātā, which basically means one suchness. All of this is one something or other doing something we don't understand.
