Food shortages happen after the season ends.
OH NO THE GDP RED WE FUCKED NOW THE MAGICAL NUMBERS ARE MAD OH GOD WE NEED GOOD NUMBERS WE NEED GREEN NUMBERS!!
when's that, 2 weeks?
Meh, I think Biden is killing the country, but .9 is not much. Although, I can't see it improving in the third Q either.
It always starts off slow user
that is NOT the definition of a recession, chuds.
Janet Yellen has seen her shadow. We all know what that means.
Markets are going to be bumpy for a bit and things will appear relatively normal. Once the food shortages start setting in sometime around mid fall is when the real fun begins. It’s going to make the depression look fun.
Holy shit, a recession! I have literally lost count of how many recessions I've lived through, 10, 15? I dont even care anymore, life goes on, literally as usual.
>Once the food shortages start setting in sometime around mid fall is when the real fun begins.
Hopefully the Jewkrainian war ends by then. There's no way they're going to drag this shit into 2023
Nonsense. Jews don't cast shadows. Stop trying to humanize them.
It's the EXACT definition you illiterate dumb fuck.
All these stats are twisted and fake, if they've declared a recession it's because they want there to be a recession.
Funny you should say that. The recession is not actually caused by the war. There's another thing that has a possibly even bigger effect than oil prices: central bank interest rates.
The Fed had been slightly increasing interest rates in order to control inflation. However, there's still work too. Inflation is still going strong, more increases are needed.
"But surely by the end of the year we will be done, right?". No. Even cases of moderate/high inflation usually take around 4 years to resolve. Germany post WWII is an example. US in the 70s is another.
