I don't pay much attention to the nature of lawsuits. Could be arguing why he didn't suck their dicks.
What I'm saying is he should have at least acknowledged them. It's common fucking sense and not sure how old he is but if he's not aware that associating with a row of white people then blowing off minorities right after doesn't look good and he SHOULD know this, but it doesn't matter. It should work like the law works. You're assumed to know it and if you don't then fuck you and face the consequences. Don't take a job where being aware of the social climate is important if you don't know shit about the current social climate.

This just means that in the future mascots will be told not to interact 1 on 1 with any kid. They'll just wave randomly into the crowd. Something similar happened to a big department store chain I worked at in the early 2000s. A roastie took her baby to a cafe and asked for a plastic spoon. She then made a scene that the spoon had broke inside her babies mouth and it had choked on it. It never happened as she refused medical aid for the baby and the spoon pieces were recovered. She basically crushed it in her hand and faked the whole thing, but it still resulted in plastic spoons being banned from all of the department stores across England. We only offered metal spoons after that, and parents would get pissed of with us as they wanted plastic spoons.

When the person wants something they cant have like being picked up, the quickest way to diffuse the situation is just to move on. Theres plenty of other mascots coming down the line.
