Hey friend, I'm getting the vibe that we've extracted almost all the good conversation for now on this out of the first couple threads. Quality really went down and now it's a total mess, we should regroup later when synchronicity best decided and interested anons can read the archives by clicking a few threads back before it went to shit. Also the other posted archives.

you don't have to be that strong to "lights out" someone cold, and especially a woman, but i understand. growing up on the mean streets of StL, you had to be scrappy to survive. i was 6' nothing from 8 until 17, and then had my final growth "spurt" and got a whopping quarter of an inch more. anyway- during that same period of time, i never weighed more than a buck 25- probably even when i had just gone swimming or took a shower. knocked out plenty of dudes. i'd research "jiujitsu" or "sistema" "self-defense techniques if you're trying to do it in a way that won't bruise. as i said- i don't condone it, and i don't think it's a great idea, but as long as you leave the kid out of it, it's really none of my business. make sure he's asleep or something. you could also gaslight her by hitting her from behind and lying that someone broke into the house and knocked you out, too. if she bruises while she's out, just give yourself a good whack before you encourage her to call the police--who'll do absolutely nothing if the "assailant flees"

this would work, and again- i don't condone it, but i would consider it if i were still with my first wife after all these years. i'd probably fantasize about it, moreso, especially if kid/s were involved. idk. there are no easy solutions, or you'd have already worked it out. sorry again to hear that she treats you like that

we only had 1 gifted program. I took all AP courses in high school which is actually a bigger indicator of success, then I went on to study Business Finance after getting a 99th percentile SAT score

GATE is almost never an indicator of success, user. It wasn't about making you into a good goy wagie or corporate actor lmao. There's an incredibly small amount of GATEfags who actually amounted to anything other than MKultra victims.

my beautiful hapa daughters? yeah, i'm not ashamed about that at all, and nothing you or anyone else says could even hypothetically change my mind on that. in fact, you'd probably call my middle daughter based. check this out- she and her friend had a code word for black people: "neighbor." literally 1 in her school. 1. i'll leave to your imagination what word they were trying to use. i trolled the shit out of them picking them up from school one day, too. i played the mr. rogers theme song, and they absolutely lost it. they were so mad. it was glorious, but that's your job as a dad. comes with the territory, and it's important, too, because making intellectually weak kids is how you get into the mess, which we're in now, in the first place. there is a deep societal advantage for "dad jokes" and all the other silliness, mild but forced embarrassment, et cetera

yeah i wasn't in GATE, but the gifted program at my school had a cutoff of 140. depending on how much higher you were than normal, they'd make a determination on which classes/grades you can skip- and in what courses. in my case, it was from 6th to 8th grade for math and science; and then they let me also skip in japanese, spanish, and music theory 2 years once i was a freshman and didn't have to take the bus between the middle school and high school twice daily with the other little einsteins. it was cool, and i got into the 1-8-1-8 program once i was in high school- so i got some decent college credits at no cost long before i got my IB diploma and finished 8th place at the global DECA competition--and i just took marketing as a blow-off class my senior year. i wasn't invested in that class at all, but apparently i'm a natural at retail merchandising. everybody has weird little things that they're good at, and i guess that that's one of mine

my main interests are definitely music, linguistics, working on million-dollar+ machines (i.e. medical equipment in the USAF, and then playing in clubs in SF while i was in school for audio engineering, and now in oregon with microchip), and gaming. in that order, those are my interests
