Broke New Deal.

If they redefine the word recession then let's just use a new word to describe what recession used to mean. Especially something that sounds worse like "hemhorage".

>Jews trickery so bad they could barely prevent 1% contraction
WE ARE IN A RECESSION

>possible war with China
>rate increase
>recession announcement
>Biden using a deepfake to make a speech

Yah, this is totally normal guize. Nothing crazy, or anything.

I love Uncle Joe. He’s the bestest and will do even better.

WE DIDN'T LISTEN!

Two quarters of negative growth has never been the definition of a recession.
Sad to this guy sell out to the far-right.

Bidenomics. Its a recession but with cool aviators.

You very clearly know nothing about economics or anything at all. Two quarters of negative growth can be a facet of a recession, but that's not the dictionary definition of one, nor the one economists use. As J. Powell said, the economy is too strong in too many areas to be considered a recession.

no no no its outdated, we arent changing the definition the definition was already changed we just didnt change it on google yet

It was never the definition, you fat chud.
>The rule of thumb defining recession as two quarters of negative GDP growth is not used by NBER.[4] The NBER looks for monthly dating (GDP is a quarterly figure) and GDP growth will sometimes be positive even in clear periods of decline, e.g. in the second quarter of 1918, GDP growth was slightly positive even in the middle of the severe 1973–75 recession.

Yeah in 3 months you'll still be coping

>As J. Powell said,
third column, second from the bottom. I know you're trolling

Yep, not a recession. It is the start of the Biden Depression.

if this was a republican president would you be saying the same thing or retweeting the "sir this is a wendys guy"?

No, you will be when third quarter growth rises and this temporary slowdown will never be regarded by actual economists, historians and journalists as a recession.
>NOOOOO THE CHAIRMAN OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE ISN'T QUALIFIED TO DISCUSS THE ECONOMY
I wouldn't be in this thread, because you retards wouldn't have made it, that's for sure.

that means the sanctions are working

>third quarter growth
What do you base the prediction for this growth on specifically?

I've noticed a shit ton of traffic over the last month so is everyone upset about gas prices or are we just ok with it? This "recession" is nothing like the 2008 one so far
