What is the psychology between (presumably) leftists who are hysterical about COVID and seem to believe it's still mid-2020? They seem to desperately want to go back to lockdowns and mask mandates, talk sanctimoniously about "keeping safe" and boast about "not getting COVID" like this is something normal people would dread or that's any worse than getting a flu. For that matter, three years ago nobody I know took getting a cold or flu seriously and would not have taken days off work as a result of it. Now there are people who are obsessed with "not getting sick" and seem to actually crave the mask wearing, social distancing, working from home, etc. What the fuck explains the thinking of these people?

Everything that is being done right now is to prevent discussion about how wrong they were with all this. From the doomsday statistical models predicting 6% infection fatality rate, to banning the actually safe and effective ivermectin, and trying to implement communism 2.0 a.k.a. Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) via Stimmy checks; these people have been disasterously wrong. It is going to take decades to fix the damage they wrought in just a couple years.

They're the people who have followed and emulated popular people their entire lives. They do not think for themselves or even have things they like. They merely copy celebrity and pretend they too are like them, robotically.

Just got Covid for the 2nd time (unvaxxed), had one day of fever and coughing and it's gone. I went to the pharmacy to officialize it and get my qr code and they basically told me it was like I had a full vaccine profile, now. Kek vaccies.
