There was something going around recently on twitter on how the Chinese government used "statistical projections" to base their population size, but it turns out that the chinese brith rate has collapsed. The government believes theres about 100-300m more people than there are.
I wish I kept the link.

I don't rule out the possibility that the vaxx had something to do with it but I also know plenty of people in 2021 that:
>quit their job with nothing lined up due to burnout (no financial security, no desire to make babies)
>ended long term relationship (remember some countries still simped for lockdowns/travel restrictions even into late 2021)
>people having less disposable income due to inflation/rising cost of living (this is why you see stocks like netflix, shopify crashing and laying people off)
Disposable income is more important than you might think for making babies. It's not just feeling 'secure' financially enough for people to do it. Think of that holiday where they can relax for a few weeks, forget about the stress of work and conceive. Also a lot of romantic things revolve around disposable income not just 'netflix and chill' but like going to a nice restaurant.
There is also the problem of over counting as well, which does happen when you have over a billion people to count.

You missed it, the huge birth rate decline happened pretty much 9 months after mass scale jabbing. Prior lockdowns etc. had negligible effects
True but it used to go down slowly, quite predictably, not a huge drop in a month

I wonder what could have caused this.
I guess we'll never know.
