I'm planning a interstellar mission AMA

The mission will last 45-50 years travelling at 0.9c using the sailbeam concept including design optimisations I have made for breaking capacity, due to time dilation the crew will experience 20 years, I have also discovered a mechanism that makes cryosleep practical so there will be 2 rotating crews of 240 for ten year "shifts" on the ship which will be a cylinder bola (two cylinders attached by cable rotating around a central axis) composed of a metallic magnesium based alloy (won't oxidise in space and the inner habitat coated in Teflon then covered with soil, the bola rotating radius will be ~276 m and simulating 80% earth Gravity. Total mass will be ~ 500,000 tonnes and will require the energy of 1.41E+25 J to accelerate to 0.9c this will be provided by self replicating geothermal units covering the entire surface of Venus after Venus has been covered with radiative coolers emitting in co2's transparent wavelengths (we've already designed similar solar power based system proposals for the moon) and accelerating a sail beam for 2 years netting 0.5g's which after addition to the bola vectors will emulate 100% earth gravity at a angle, the entire surface of the bola will be covered in seesaw like terrace's (it will feel and look like rice terraces on a hill) that rotate when breaking and cruising hence changing the vectors of gravity (during cruising the bola will be sped up to make up the difference to 1g).
The target for this mission is Trappist-1, of which each planet has a 30-60% chance of having a atmosphere and being 7 planets in the system at least one or two i am confident will be terraformable.
Who here will risk it all for a fresh start? (Artificial wombs and frozen embryos will be used to speed up the birthrate )

If you are looking for a crew member I am probably a good candidate:

industrial engineering background
experienced in indoor growing hundreds of plants

i believe i can single handedly feed over 100,000 people if I had the right equipment and fertilizer

Although it may be required to split the bola into two sets of counter rotating Bola for stability

Bump

I don't feel like running away, but I wish you good luck on your journey.

I am an excellent crew member candidate. I have seen almost all of Star Trek: Voyager. I am fully prepared to submit my body (sexually) to any hot Borg women that we may encounter. I am also a math wizard and can add and subtract single digit numbers in my head with a near 80% success rate.

I think we'll keep U round for a jester... Lol

I am a nuclear weapons expert. In case any bankers or joggers, or monkey pox patients from earth or any sol system try to convert us to their beliefs, invade, or even just follow us there i will obliterate them. A a
New home, paradise, needs equally important defences. I have contacts...

I will. If you're serious I'm on board all the way.

I am not fit for space travel, but I wish you all the luck. I will secure Terra for non jews

Can you pick me up? We should hit a gas station for some snackies.

We will grow our own snackies on half a square kilometre of land and hydroponics

Would you take an Asian ex-soldier who likes hiking as a scout/mapper?

what's your expected launch date?

I think I would be an excellent candidate. I have an uncle that works for Nintendo and a cryogenic sleep mechanism just flew over my house.

What is your defense against tiny space rocks?

But Any Forums told me space is fake

Nice larp but if this was real I would 100% go.

Reaching .9c would make time travel feasible, just return to Earth until Hitler 2 rises up and wins.

I am an excellent candidate, I'm experienced in the art of sabotage, subversion, drug dealing and rape.

You won’t do shit.
