The best prices, biggest selection, carries shit other than groceries saving a lot of unneeded travel, and it didn't cause the local grocers to shut down either. I genuinely think there has been some mass anti-walmart psy-op or something.

Walmart is just a MUCH more efficient version of SEARS which meant they could offer lower prices...... and then put SEARS out of business. Amazon is just a MUCH more efficient version of the SEARS catalog. Basically the people running Walmart were just MUCH better at business. Amazon is MUCH better than damn near everyone at business. I cannot blame the walmarts and amazons, it's the brick and mortar businesses that were shit and deserved to fail.

I think there's a lot of rose tinted glasses for mom and pop stores. Everyone goes on about amazon and walmart type shops being grueling, but the most egregiously abusive workplaces in my experience have always been small businesses.

I doubt that before Walmart that everything was milk and honey at the other small shops. I think the pay would be just as shit, and you're more at the mercy of the people who run them because at least major corporations sort out the worst behavior.

Walmart is also full of dirty underclass people and an expectation to checkout my own products and then be hassled by some fartmart loss prevention guardian while trying to leave asking for my receipt like a Gestapo asking for papers. Fucking garbage amerimutt shit store.

When I was a kid every town had like 3 types of K marts, sprawling shops all around main street. Then walmart came and everything shut down.

You guys do know that walmart literally finds economic efficiency by underpaying as much as possible but also hires literal down syndromes, deadbeats, seniors going senile, 4channers, and subhuman/rejects that would otherwise be unemployed neets, homeless, or dead right?

depends on who owns the shop. As long as its not owned by some filthy kike or soulless poo you're fine. I've worked for 2 small businesses in my life, both owned by christians, and they were awesome. The owners DID actually give a fuck about the employees. I remember the owner buying an employee all new tires for their car because they were broke and needed to get to work. It wasn't a loan or anything either, she straight up paid like $400-$500. My boss even paid my entire round trip airfare from MN to FL and back once. Just because. Also got $500 CASH bonus (no tax) for Christmas at a fucking gas station job. Just work for Christians and NEVER EVER EVER work for jews or asians.

The average life of a Walmart is 5 years or something like that
Sometimes a wallmart will close and move across the fucking street creating their own urban blight.
All these comfy shops and nightlife won’t even fit one Walmart.
