This is a false metric. The point of journalism is to provide "just the facts" news in an unbiased fashion. Every media circus with an agenda to sell calls itself "news" while only pretending to be fair and balanced.
I read the news, apply critical thinking skills and discard the opinions and filler. You'll find that there are some news sites and writers who are much better at this than others.

Cite sources, then people can verify news for themselves. The more accurately news producers report on their verifiable sources, the more trust they will gain.
But that would require that news not be misrepresentative or downright false, which is an impossible standard for most propped-up propaganda machines to keep up; they’d lose their investors and go out of business as their business model is not sustainable without lies and corruption.
