They don't run literally everything and I never claimed they did outside of irony. "Jews" is however my current best approximation for how power chooses to self-identify based on the standards I use to determine such things.

If I criticise "fascism" the system backs me up, so I know that power doesn't self-identify as "fascism". If I criticize "whites" or "whiteness" the system will also back me up, so I know that "white" and "whiteness" are not the identity of power either. the If I criticize "capitalism" the system mostly backs me up, but some boomers might lecture me on bootstraps and entitlement, so I know that power doesn't self-identify as "capitalism" either. If I criticize "socialism" I will get lectured by college pseuds and media consumers on how I'm dumb and uneducated, so I know I'm getting closer since there is an element of institutional conditioning here, but I'm still allowed to do this and the response is still a fragmented one, so "socialism" is a long way from being the identity of power too.

If I criticize Jews however, the entire system mobilizes into a defensive frenzy. Every single organ from government to business to academia will mobilize. Foreign governments mobilize. International NGOs will mobilize. Mass media will mobilize. The entire global system is animated as if possessed by a single mind.

Until another target of criticism has
