Some of those are wrong though.
Once a man understands and is friendly with another man he won't ostracize him just for discussing his weaknesses. In fact it's kinda the opposite, most guys will find value contributing to the group by helping their bro out and giving advice and support where they can.
He has to actually let those problems start to affect the group in a serious way for it to be a problem. It's basically women that immediately ditch a guy the moment he needs help.
Also if you're on the verge of an hero then tough it out and schedule to see a psychiatrist, DO NOT go to the emergency room or else you'll wreck your life even worse and pay thousands for that privilege.
Also if those suggestions like stop jerking off, working out, sunshine etc cure your depression then you weren't depressed, you just had no motivation, and you need to go make meaningful changes in your life. And if those things do stop you from killing yourself you probably should kill yourself anyway because actual real problems that people suicide over are not so simple in the slightest.
